On August 3-5, the Rule of Law Collaborative (ROLC) held “Core Training: Rule of Law Fundamentals (INL 101/201)”, a course intended for new INL foreign service officers and incoming headquarters-based program officers. This course provided the audience with key information about rule of law and justice sector issues they may face in their new assignments.
Throughout the training, participants gained familiarity with the essentials of country analysis, program development, and program measurement. Participants learned to synthesize complex information about rule of law challenges and engaged in practical exercises across all the topics covered.
All sessions were held virtually, and instruction included a mix of instructor presentations, interactive discussion, and short asynchronous learning modules.
